FALL SEMESTER MIKE ANTHONY MIKE HASTINGS Fall Semester President Vice-Presidenf Us Elected to lead the student body for the fall of '58 was Mike Anthony who did a splendid job as president. Mike Hastings as our vice- president proved to do a well-planned iob of organizing our assembly programs. The ratification of the new constitution was put into effect in which the students are gov- erned by a bi-partisan government. Peggy Thompson, secretary, kept an accurate record of student body affairs. We owe much to Kay Arnoldy, Girls Tax Collector, and Brent Collins, Treasurer, as well as Rodger Clark, Commissioner of Building and Grounds, who were very successful in maintaining sufficient funds in our student body. The hilarious play, Father Knows Best , the crowning of the Homecoming Queen, Shasta's 13-0 victory over Enterprise High, and the many pep rallies and entertaining assemblies are a few of the many things that helped make Shasta's first semester very suc- cessful.
