PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE Every aspect of our life today has been affected by the tremendous technological advancement of the 20th Cen- tury. This is particularly important in such areas as food, housing, medicine, transportation, communications, and education. I think it is of particular interest to note that a large percentage of these advances have come since You, the members of the class of l959, were bornAl6, l7, or l8 years ago. With the many advantages of this technical age, more training is needed for almost any job or position than just a few years ago. The new horizon which you now face includes either continuing your formal education in preparation for your choice of life Work or entering the working world immediately upon graduation. X ever way you choose, may you work hard to ds ATTENDANCE CJFFICE Supervising the attendance office is the ever-pat Mr. Donald Marvin and the ever-pleasant Mrs. B Prince. Also working in the attendance office are students. These students help the officers in taking of the 1154 students at Shasta. Aiding the teachers, counselors, and parents is Grace Warrnoth who gives intelligence tests to stud BOARD OF ' TRUSTEES The exceedingly difficult job of gov- erning Shasta High and the other schools of the district falls on the board of trustees, who give unselfishly of their time helping to make Shasta High a better school.
