Lyle Lahfranchini worked diligenfly as slu- den'r body secrefary while Turney Moore accurarely served in his role as Srudenf Council secrefary. Leverna Allcins and her assislanrs were insfrumenfal in +he success of The baslcefball 'ream. and The yell leaders presenfed many fine rallies which were enioyed by all slu- denfs. LeH'y Williams and her crew added much sparlc fo fhe JV and B reams. The Purple Slciris and While Shirls assembly was an assembly fo be remembered. The sfudenfs from Califor- nia's lnfernarional House also presen+ed an oulsfanding program, and for 'rhe firsi' 'rime in several years 'rhe s+uden+s enjoyed a real Jrreaf, 'rhe Facull'y Assembly. The s+uden+s af Shasfa were ou'rs+anding in The field of music and dramaiics as was shown when rhe Operelra and Senior play were produced. The Chico Sfudenr Leaders' Conference and rhe Richardson Springs Girls' Conference provided educarional opporluniries for Shasra srudenrs. Because all srudenrs worked +oge+her, The second semes- fer ended on a nore of harmony.
