Led by fwo very able presidenfs, Bruce Bedynek and Larry Clark, every underfaking was a success. The magazine sales campaign for fhe Curlis Publishing Company broughf in over fwo fhousand dollars, fhe largesf amounf ever sold af Shasfa. For fhis achieve- menf, a large plaque, which now sfands in fhe frophy case in fhe fronf hall, was presenfed fo lhe class. The Junior Jump, held in fhe fa l, was well- affended, and fhe Junior Prom in fhe spring was one of fhe mosf innporfanf evenfs of fhe year. The class of l52 disfinguished ifself in bofh The fields of afhlefics and scholarship. Eighf boys leffered in Varsify foofball, and five won fheir leffers in A baskefball. Twenfy 52'ers were members of C.S.F. during fhe year, and a few of lhem served as officers. Three oufsfanding juniors, Barbara Fuchs, Frankie King, and Carol Flall, were Sfudenl Body officers. They ended up second place in the Big Five J.V. League, losing only to Chico. The game that proved the most exciting was the game with Weaverville. The Wolt Pups came out winners by one point 33-32. Q This season was very successtul in that it produced many 1 'X' outstanding freshmen. A tew ot these were Joe Golenor, Ken Forey, Don Stewart, and Wallace Shelton. There were many more treshmen on the team but it would be impossible to men- tion all ot them. At the end ot the season Wallace Shelton was elected captain ot the team.
