I In The second year oT progress Barbara Carr and Louie FrancheTTi were The suc- cessful leaders of The enThusiasTic wagon Train oT 36. The girls once again Traveled Tar by winning The volleyball and baslceTball championships. The boys also kepT pace wiTh Them and won firsT place in The unlimiTed inTerclass Track evenTs. O Under The leadership oT Lillian SubleTT and Louie FrancheTTi The Junior year oT The wagon Train oT 36 did some real pioneering. They gave for The TirsT Time in The hisTory oT S. U. H. S. a Junior Play which was proclaimed a greaT success. The Junior Prom wiTh iTs Spanish decoraTions was also an ouTsTanding evenT of The year. O Our journey is now complefed: ForresT SmiTh and Edward HaThaway are The ones who have led us Through This final successful year. We are now prepared for The many oTher journeys we may wish To Take in life. The wagon Train oT 36 also wishes ThaT The succeeding wagon Trains may profiT by our experiences along The way. C LeT us Tell you someThing abouT our Trip. The TirsT year on The Trail our leader, John Balma, guided us well. Under his guidance we reached our nexT posT, Sopho- more Land. O While in Sophomore Land we changed leaders and under our new capTain, John I-Ianna, we Torged ahead, sTeadily nearing our goal. In The middle oT our journey we acquired a new leader, and under Glenn SouTh we conTinued onward. Only once did we sTop. This was done To brighTen The spiriTs oT The Train. Our shorT pause was Tor The Sophomore Hop, which was very enjoyable. O Beginning The Third year OT our journey we selecTed a new and TaiThTul leader. With Dora Rusconi heading our Train, we pushed onward and upward. O I-Iahfway To our nexT posT we again changed leaders. This Time we called upon Wilma SwarTs and, under her careful direcTion, we conTinued our Trip. Senior year was jusT ahead. We sTopped jusT once more Tor a Trolic loeTore we became sedaTe and digniTied Seniors. We all agreed ThaT The Junior Prom was The besT in hisTory.
