ROW 3: Tom Antos, Dan Taylor STUDENT COUNCIL PROVIDES TRAINING IN GOVERNMENT Sharpsville High School's Student Council is composed of one seventh, eighth, and ninth grader, two sophomores, three juniors, and four seniors. This organization is under the advisorship of the Guidance Director, Mr, John Mattern. A student is elected from the seventh grade and repre- sents his class alone until his sophomore, junior, and senior years when three more representa- tives are chosen, one each year. The purpose of this organization is to co-operate with the school ad- ministration to help in activities where their services will be of value. It also represents the stu- dent body on all issues and sponsors assemblies.
