STURM Dedication Our lives are a continuing process of education. We have passed many milestones and have chosen many paths to travel. Our steps were made less faltering through the efforts of Mrs. Sturm and Mr. Rabuck. Through their interest and concern with our well being we cease to stumble and heads high we continue looking ahead. It is with sincere feelings of respect and thanks that the Seniors dedicate the 1976 CLARION to Karen Sturm and Bertram Rabuck. ADMINISTRATION, FACULTY, STAFF Board of Education ROW 1: Mr. Ben Rabuck, Mr. Floyd Kettler, Dr. Seymour Stein. ROW 2: Mr. Walter Kahabka, Mr. Edward Knee. Mrs. Joan Baxter. HARRIE WASHBURN Business Administrator Driver Education JOSEPH VACCA Guidance Director 4 As we approach our bi-centennial year we find that our problems and responsibilities are many. Do we have more problems than our founding fathers? They had to set up a government and laws to govern their newly won freedom. Today we have to try to live by these laws to help keep our country free and democratic. Some of these laws and rights may need to be changed. You, our future leaders, have to accept these responsibilities. I feel that the Class of 1976 has the ability to work wiuiin the framework of the law and accept these challenges. The country’s future rests in your hands. Let me on behalf of your parents, teachers, and community congratulate you and wish you the best in the years to come. Sincerely, 5 S. BREZINSKI - Grade 5 E. REMEMBER WHEN We gave Mrs. Sturm money for Christmas? We'd like to let her know it was her baby sitting fee. There is now truth to the rumor. Have camera will travel. Just ask Photo Joe. The never ending battle between Bush and Billy remains unsolved; we wonder who is Wright. Remember when Debbie flew into the volleyball net; ruffled a few feathers, didn't it Deb? Jaws was a little too much for you wasn't it, Steve? Dennis, are Southern belles really more appealing? Does the great green forest ranger still stalk the forest of S.S.? After four years Mrs. Sturm has run out of lectures to sell supper tickets or magazines or cards or candles or candy bars . . . Joan still wonders what Aline, Joe, and Steve were doing in the car prom night. Hey Doug, do you remember Ethel? We're sure she remembers a lot of you. Brenda's and Tracey's theme song is By the Light of the Silvery Moon . The moon on the way to Middleburg that is. How lire yom cramps. Bill or was it really a headache? Remember when Mrs. Sturm arranged for Santa to bring us hats? Hey Marilyn, Look at this! Ray became the proud parent of a 12 foot bouncing baby snowman. That's a______nice shin. Who could forget the prom party - then again who can remember the prom pany? Remember Barrel Mountain” and the yellow ghost? Remember the fight to save Halloween and the great pumpkin? Remember the three cornered lot and the theme We're Off to See the Wizard floating in the air? Remember New Year's Eve when we sat around and played airhockey with the boys all night? Remember when Mike apologized for making the dog growl? 78 'f s : 2 n- • V k'- ,.’ ■ ' A: « • • . , , W J ,■■ • • .
