(The 1965 (Ciarum presents bji Che Menhir Class anti Che Clarum 5 taff S'harnn springs (Central jSrluml Aharon springs, XiJ. Hlarger Bebicatton In a humble effort to show our infinite thanks and appreciation for their assistance and service to our Alma Mater and its students, we, the Senior Class of 1965, dedicate our year- book to Mrs. Margery Empie and to Mr. John Pendergast. We sincerely hope that this dedication will prove to be a lasting remembrance of our gratitude to them. •flohn penfoergaat FACULTY principals Blessagc The twentieth century has of- fered and shall continue to offer a variety of opportunities for the grad- uate who seeks to contribute to the welfare of his fellowman, his nation and himself. It is our hope that each of you will be conscious of the spe- cial attributes you possess and that you will be alert to direct your energies and abilities toward the achievements which are a source of pride to your associates. As you pre- pare to face the realities of life, we recommend for your reevaluation por- tions of Rudyard Kipling's guideposts for successful living: If you can dream and not make dreams your master. If you can think and not make thoughts your aim; If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster And treat those two impostors just the same; If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools. Or watch the things you gave your life to broken. And stoop and build ’em up with worm out tools.” We know of no better proven principles to guide you as we congratulate you upon your initial success on Graduation Day. Cordially yours. St. Team 1.2 Ijtatoru of the ®ksa of 65 In 1961 we began our high school career with Mr. Carmody as our class advisor. Our only activity during our freshman year was a supper. Our class officers were the following: president - - ■ vice president secretary - - • treasurer - - - Clifford Pinder Gary Jorgensen Richard LaGuardia Robert Freer During our sophomore year we held two dances featuring Marty and the Madmen. Our class officers were the following: president - - ■ vice president secretary — • treasurer - - ■ Jeannette Cousineau Darlene Kettler Laura Lynn Shockley Ruth Lambert In our junior year Mrs. Krueger became our co-advisor. Our many activities in- cluded several dances, a ham supper, a couple of bake sales and a candy sale. Our class officers were the following: president -- - Brenda Putnam vice president -- - Jeannette Cousineau secretary - - — ---- --------------------- Linda Baxter treasurer - -- -- -- -- -- -- - — Nancy Forsthoffer In our senior year Mr. Mastrangelo became our class advisor, replacing Mr. Car- mody, who had left to accept a position at Cobleskill. Our main activity in our senior year was our magazine sale. We also had a few dances, bake sales and a ham supper. We spent much time planning our senior trip to New York City and the World's Fair, an excursion enjoyed by the class. Our officers in 1965 were the following: president — • vice president secretary — ■ treasurer - - - Clifford Pinder Laura Lynn Shockley Linda Baxter William Roberts pmpheqj af the (flaaa nf 65 ANNA BAUTOCHKA has replaced Jim Brown as leading ground gainer in the N.F.L. BRENDA PUTNAM holds controlling interest in Northern Songs Limited; guess who her partner is. NANCY FORSTHOFFER is no longer with us. Some have reported her miss- ing in a sandstorm in Texas, whereas others say they last saw her falling in an oil well. LYNN SHOCKLEY is making a mint as a brick salesman in underdeveloped areas. LIN- DA BAXTER is a HELL-DRIVER. Or is it a hell of a driver? Well, something like that. CLIFF PINDER is now entertainment manager at the Playboy Club. He handles all the acts. THERESA WATSON is competing with A1 Jobmann for the 1975 S.S.C.S. Senior picture contract. HERB VROOMAN is now the world's fastest human ... on four wheels. PAM CUMMINGS has just out talked Cassius Clay, and is now the biggest lip in the world. NANCY BROWN has just had another hazzard come into her life; and another one, and another one . . . GARY ULLMAN now owns the largest Honda Shop in the Great Northeast. DONNA KANE is known as the syndicated columnist, Miss Donna Lee, and for her Tetters to Lost Lovers. ’’ JIM HERMAN has written an ex- pose entitled, If There's Anything I Like Better Than One Woman, It's Two. GLORIA JACKSON, because of her lithe figure, is now a top notch model at the House of Chanel in Paris. RUTH LAMBERT, always consistent, arrived at her own wedding too late to take part in the ceremony; the white fender had finally fallen off the old Chevy. RICHARD LaGUARDIA has just won the Surfing” Championship at Waimea. It seems his brother's surfboard came in nandy after all. BILL ROBERTS is presently employed at Whitestone Testing Grounds, where he is reportedly having a blast. SUSAN VROO- MAN is now the dean at the Clairol Institute, where she is busy answering the ques- tion, Does She or Doesn't She?” LINDA GREENE has danced her way to fame and for- tune. She is now a regular on Twist-O-Rama U.S.A. ALICE BARBIC, an up and coming starlet, has just finished her tenth picture and her ninth husband. JOYCE ULL- MAN, having recently put on a tew pounds, has become heavy weight wrestling cham- pion of the world, defeating Golden Moose Scholak. JEANNETTE COUSINEAU is keeping herself busy these days by organizing riots and pickets outside of the W.G. Y. studios. It seems that she and the recently fired Bill Edwardsen are finally trying to do something about The Lloyd Thaxton Show. DARLENE KETTLER is now a British Starr, her latest movie being, My Fair Ratfink.” Cliff Linda G. Brenda Darlene William Jeannette Jimmy Alice Susan Backtaarh, turn harklnarb, Bake me a rhilii again.
