PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE In talking with parents, we find that many of them consider their children to be one of their best investments. Parents protect and de- fend this investment with their energies, their finances, and even their lives. In their attempts to protect and develop this investment and to assure its perpetual growth, parents have supported an educational sys- tem to assist you as a student to develop your maximum potentialities. As a student, therefore, you owe it, not only to yourself, but also to your parents, to avail yourself of every opportunity to grow and develop into the kind of adult who will bring honor, pride, and joy to those whose devotion has meant the expenditure of time, money, and effort. Your progress report is the dividend you pay your parents. It is your means of rewarding those who have faith in you. Are you as a student yielding a satisfactory return for the unselfish and tireless efforts your parents make in your behalf? What kind of investment are you?
