It was with a hearty welcome arc with gladness in oui hearts that the students and faculty of S.S.r. . welcomed Mis - Margery Skinner in September o ' .4 after she had grad- uated from Hartwick College in June of 44. Since then we have come to know and greatly appreciate tV.lss Skinner With her instructive knowledge she tes helped many students through courses in math,chemistry, and English She was the advisor of the Class of '47 and for the past three years has been coach of the varsity cheerleaders as well as participating in many other town and school activ- ities It was through her warm and cheerful smile, her swell personality as well as her stern ways that Miss Skinner won her way into the hearts of many people. It is with this ded- ication that the Senior Class of 50 attempts to show a lit- tle of what she means to us. Dorinne Button has resigned her position as head nurse to take full time housekeeping for her children and her husband. Bob Edwards• Bernice Cummings is working as a private secretary for a large executive firm and is keeping her private affairs to herself. Ben Button is now professor of Chemistry at Button Street Univer- sity where he also teaches chess. Herman Buttery has retired after ten years as owner and manager of the Route 20 skating rink. Jerry Ethlngton has replaced Stan Musial in the St. Louis Cardi- nal outfield and is leading the National League in batting. Arden Fonda now owns a chain of stores. His beautiful wife, the former Pauline Lambert is his private secretary. Virginia Hayes completed a tour of the United States a few years ago and is now settled, with her husband and children in Cali- fornia. Milton Kllng is now manager of the world famous Giants” which have won the world series for ten years now. TTis wife Audrey, has been in the stands cheering for him since 1953. Dwight Lane has replaced Harry Washburn as Dean of Agriculture at the Engelville University. Robert Lynk is still planing along with his friend, Dwight. They are both agriculture teachers at the Engelville University. Inez Mallery has still kept her fun Irving personality and the students can't tell if she's serious or not. Erma Manchester has retired after a successful year in the stock market and at horseraces. She recently bought a mansion in West Richmondville. James Myers has announced the opening of his new rocket repair garage. Jim expects to sell many of his new home made WYP3lA4's. Josephine Nlrschl is a famous dress designer in New York City. Her spare time' is spent with her two children and her husband, Ivan King. Irene Kilts is a famous model for the biggest modeling agency in Hollywood. She has a husband and two children who are destined to become models like their mother. Nancy Roberts is fulfilling her desire to travel. She is a traveling companion to a rich elderly lady who is taking a tour of Europe. Gladys Thornton's slim pretty figure has done a lot for her. She Is now one of t-he Rockettes ” that perform everyday on Broadway. Herbert Van Schalck is now owner and proprietor of Western Hemisphere Aut b parts and has established a store in every city in the western hemisphere. Richard Van Schalck ia a big man in the coal business. His wife, the fifth, is now in Reno suing for a divorce. Emma Jean Wright is living in Arizona.
