But here and now the record will be set straight. Being in elementary school has several ad- vantages that adults fpeople in high schooll sometimes envy. Due to the active lives we grade schoolers lead, we are privileged to have milk breaks, recess, and nap breaks fonly if one is in kindergartenl. There are ex- tracurricular activities, designed to help burn excess energy which include football games, basketball games and our own track meet. Along with these activities, there are the classes we attend. ln these classes, we learn math, reading and spelling, English, music, art, history, and science. There are other activities that we enjoy. We have par- ties, Easter egg hunts, and Christmas programs. These all help make the school year exciting. A big advantage of being in grade school is to be allowed to attend school related activities for half price. Now that's pretty good. Summing it all up, it's really great to be in grade elzrrfaiifya P. T l 1 0- Q id , If M5 '. , g ,.,--A xiii? .ff school. l See what I got! I've finished my work. Two in one shot. Our year was filled with various ac- titivies including: the fair held in September, class keys and announcements ordered, senior pictures take in Oc- tober and term papers completed in December. ln March, our basketball team went to State, the stock shows and the Jr.-Sr. Carnival were held, and the Jr.-Sr. Play premiered. We continued to keep busy with baseball games and track meets. In April the FFA Barnwarming and the Jr.- Sr. Banquet and Prom were held. The days grew into weeks and weeks into months. Before we knew it, time had come for our long awaited graduation and trip to Florida. Now in looking back, our senior year was a pretty good one which we won't soon forget. Karla and Ryan. Who wouldnt? Just by looking at the different sports that are played at the elementary and high schools one can see these games are not played by the average run-of-the-mill athletes! Sharon-Mutual has a group of athletes who are determined to give it their all and keep shooting for the top! With that kind of attitude how can anyone really lose?
