Bertie This girls' cluh is a new addition to the school curriculum. tts aim is to have the girls of Sharon Hill High School as physically lit as possible. At their meetings, the girls participate in competitive sports, calisthenics and other games according to the season. On January 25, the girls went ice slcating and the event proved very successful. tn the coming years, the cluto hopes to put across the idea of physical titness to all the students. ABT CLUB The Art Club has the underlying purpose of encouraging and enabling students to express their individual ideas through some form of art media. Extra instruction is also given in the different techniques of painting. Sponsor ................ lVlr. VV. Hildebrandt BUYS-BE-FIT CLUB The Boys-Be-Fit Club is a new organization this year. The purpose of the club is to develop the bodies, as well as the minds, of the boys so that they may talce their places in the war industries and in the armed services of the United States. At the meetings ot the club, the members participate in- various athletic exer- cises and games that will develop their bodies and teach them to coordinate their minds and muscles. Hutzley The purpose of this organization is to create a better understanding of problems dealing with morals, religion and sportsmanship. On club days the members discuss and solve vari- ous problems which arise in the students' school and social activities. Throughout the year, the club has visited the Y. M. C. A. sev- eral times and has entered various swimming meets.
