From time immemorial, mountains, lakes, oceans and sky have challenged his urge to conquer. Plenty ol hard work, disaster and dis- couraging deteats have beset the path ol the aviator. It has been a long and difficult struggle, not only against the laws of nature, but against ignorance, superstition and preju- dice. The brilliant record ot aviation, however, is best summed up in the motto ot the Royal Air Force'- Per Ardua Ad Astra ,-the long, uphill struggle toward the stars. You, too, can achieve the ultimate star of a good position. a happy home, the respect and love of family and friends, and an abiding faith if you are willing to pay the price of hard work, thrift, clear thinking and a clear trust in God and your fellow man.
