We, of the annual staff believe this book is a record of every day school life, which is by no means formal. Audrey Lami ---------- Editor Marilyn Guif---Ass't. Editor Dorothy Peterson ---- Classes Betty Burns ----------- Social Rosemary Schuld-Head Typist John Weiher-Business Manager Jerry Varvel -i----- Art Work Evelyn Seaver ----- Snap Shots Of course, these few people couldn't do all the work. They had others under them to make the annual really complete. Most of the seniors had positions on the staff, mainly be- cause the annual is for the seniors, this being their last year. nl ss Q Q O ' 'M a ..........,., . V ' 'T 1 . L I B R A R Y C L U B When the Library Club met this fal they found there was much to be done to straighten the library. Mr. Musolf took us through the whole process of preparing a book for circulation. We learn- ed how to treat new books, how to accession them, how to Find the call number and We learned what the secret page was. The officers elected were: President -------------------- -Hetty Lou Burns Vice President --------------------- Fay Hennig Secretary --------------------- Anna May Valley Treasurer --------------------- ---Marilyn Wuif Each librarian had a period during the iaw to straiihten shelves, check books in or out, and keep the library nent. We re- ceived many new books which the librarians quickly preowred for the use of the students. Lw QT fi w, 5' 0 V7 S H A D R A C C L U B Soon after school started the Shadrac Club met and elected 'officers for the coming year. They were: President ------------ Charles Woodford Vice President ----------- Carl Webster Secretary ------------- Rosemary Schuld Treasurer -------------- Marion Venters The club sponsored two main plays of the year, the Christmas play, directed by Miss Weidensee the club advisor, and the senior class play, directed by Mrs. Schwartz, senior class advisor. The Christmas play was entitled nWhy the Chimes Rangn. The first part took place in a peasant's hut on the edge of a forest near a cathedral town. The second part was in the form of an appa- rition in the cathedral. The girls' chorus furnished the background for the vision. -The senior class play was called nDesperate AmbrosGW, The time was the l800's--the scene, nDead Man's Gulchn. The play vas a knockout--a rootin', tootin', satire of the Old West. miiiilizw -fa!
