Marty played football each of his four years at Sharon. One of his finest qualities was his personality. He was a light-hearted individual, friendly and easy going. Marty had a smile that would brighten your day and a sense of humor that set at ease those who were with him. His presence has been missed by everyone who knew him at Sharon High. As was stated by one of his classmates. Marty will always be remembered as a ray of sunshine.” Chris was a prodigious and popular performer. This was true of both his actions on stage and the way he played the role of reality. His contributions to local theater began with his performance in Buhl Playhouse productions while he was in the fourth grade. During the summers, he played at John Kenley’s. He toured with John Davidson and acted in the production Music Man. Chris was also involved in the production of television commercials. Among them, were commercials for Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh and his role as the strawberry blonde kid in McDonald s commercials. Later roles included a part in Fiddler On The Roof”, Assistant Director of West Side Story for Buhl Playhouse. In Junior High, he played in Charlie Brown . During his freshman year at Sharon, he participated in Bye Bye Birdie . In his sophomore year, he was Assistant Director of The Man Who Came To Dinner . As a junior, he played in You Can’t Take It With You . Chris was a tremendous actor. With his friends, he leaves behind many fond memories. Chris was a three-year veteran of the tennis team and a freshman and sophomore member of the swim team. The absence of these talented classmates will not go unremembered by their many friends whose lives they have so dramatically touched.
