English Literature Will Prove Invaluable Thanks to English mini courses, students can read whatever they may fancy from Potpourri to Shakespeare. Not forgetting freshman and sophomores, who do not participate in the mini course program, teachers have developed new methods of presenting the required English courses. Although many students do not, at the present, realize the importance of this vast exposure to Literature it will in the future prove invaluable. Guidance Department Adds Two New Programs Our Guidance Department, with Mr. James Bailey as head, continually helps Sharon students with their various problems and academic needs. This year, two new programs, Diversified Activities and Distributive Education, have been initiated with Mr. Ralph Packard and Mr. Sam Muchusko as directors. In these new programs Mr. Packard helps students seek employment and arranges for many to leave school early to work, and Mr. Mushesko instructs students in marketing and prepares them for jobs in distribution.
