Business Department Satisfies Deefis Of Tofcap “Feet flat on the floor and all eyes on copy!” These words have a familiar ring to all the novice typists of Sharon High. Business students not only learn the fundamentals of typing, but also become acquainted with shorthand, bookkeeping, and office practice. Students learn to operate adding machines, and work hard learning the basics of data processing. Preparing the students for the world of business is an important job. Students get training from experienced teachers along with acquiring experience for themselves. RIGHT: Vauda Phillips explains the skills of the adding machine to Jackie Ingram. BELOW: Girls learn secretarial skills for future use. BOTTOM: Practice makes perfect in business classes.
