ONWARD, ON TO VICTORY! Our Army salutes you! On that fateful September morn, the spirited multitude surged into headquarters to receive final orders and to prepare forthe attack that was to come. Equipment was distributed to our noble warriors, and hopeful generals consulted upon the strategy that was to be brought into play. The years of rigorous training and preparation enabled our troops to sally forth and triumphantly raise on high our Victory flag Knowledge within the ramparts of the foe. Everything in order, we began our methodical and often tiresome trek. Under the capable leadership of our noted officers, joyously marching to the strains of our Victory Song we were able easily to trample our hated enemy Ignorance , Kind Nurses administering injections of Courage and Will Power enlivened many of the slower troops, those who had lost faith, and those who had fallen by the wayside. Returning once more to peace our noble band sadly dispersed. Some to go on to higher training camps , to re- place those mighty leaders who must some day retire from our ranks, others to remain at home to care for those in urgent need of their aid and protection. Our tashs being completed here at Camp Sharon High , we, the Army of '38 , leave to posterity the torch of Knowl- edge and Accomplishmentn. May its cheerful flames never falter or fail to reflect helpful guidance. We challenge you, Juniors of i938 to raise it on high. '
