L Senior Class Publication Sharon High School Sharon, Massachusetts Volume XXXXVI All of those long days that seemed to drag by have now become some of our best memories. When we used to count the minutes to the iast bell, we now count the last days to graduation 5 Now that we ' re no longer underclassmen we can look back upon those first days as freshmen: Remember . . . dashing to the bus . . . searching for your homeroom . . . getting lost . . . being iate for class . . . and trying to avoid being trampled in the halls. 6 i I Now we know where we ' re going, the problem is getting there. I thought it was supposed to get easier as we got older — 1 year down, three to go. The year that counts . . . getting our class in order . . . Glynn again . . . looking towards coliege — PSAT ' s, SAT ' s, Achievements, and passing the exam that counts the most ... our drivers ' license . . . the Junior Prom — One More Night . 4 seniors ’i We ' ll look bock on these 4 years as times filled with hardwork, close friendships, and unforgettable moments. Our experiences have helped us to grow as individuals and mature as a class. We know that what we ' ve learned at Sharon High will be invaluable to us. 14 As we look to the future, no matter where it may take us, we are confident that the Class of ' 86 will continue it ' s tradition of excellence, hardwork, and determination . The future lies ahead . . . soar with the eagles!!! 17 J Senior Class Officers and Planning Board kneeling (Left to Right): Eric Oliver, Treasurer, Michele Herschfus, Vice- President. standing (Lett to Right): Leigh Anne McNair, Secretary, Lisa Nabi, President, sitting (Lett to Right): Eric Oliver, Michele Herschfus, Lisa Nabi, Leigh Anne McNair, kneeling (Lett to Right): Samantha Bryant, Glynn Lloyd, Robin Nabi, Julie Gaines, Stacey Polikoff, Beth Leavitt, Cheryl Friedman, Ken Bromfield, Aaron Seligman, David Rothenstein standing (Lett to Right): Valerie Abrahamson, Dina Blacker, Ron Goodman, Jenny Little, Robyn Baker, Tara Mulcahy, Nicole Shaffer, Cori Shanbar, Sarah Delagi, Eileen Loeb, Linda Hoffman, Jennifer Taylor, Dave Stark and Seth Miller. Although we may not have always shown our appre- ciation for their help and guidance, we now realize their importance in our lives. Through the good times and the bad, their love and encouragement has given us the determination to fulfill our goals and the courage to reach for our dreams. 52 appreciation We, the class of t986, would like to extend our gratitude and ap- preciation to Mrs. Sue White and Mrs. Eleanor Schwartz. They were always able to take time from their busy schedules and the cha- os of the office to help us with our personal dilemmas. There was never a problem or question for which they could not help us find an answer. They went beyond the duties of their office to give assis- tance and advice and to be- come our friends. For this we would like to offer our sincere thanks. 53 i senior superlatives 1. Best Students — Robin Nabi and Seth Miller 2. Class Actor and Actress — Sam Evans and Robin Nabi 3. You could run into a six foot stereo speaker, several transvestites, a harem of girls, and two very fat guys rolling down the hall. The Seniors won the prize for the most students in costume while the Sophomores took the honors for spirit at the raucous halloween assembly. 151 A cold, damp rainy Saturday could not dam- pen the spirit at the Homecoming game as each class proudly paraded their floats during half- time. The Sophomores won first place with the Juniors a close second. Jill Fisher was the ' 1986 homecoming queen and her court included Mi- chelle Zeigler, Lisa Kane, Cassie Clifton, and Julie Langson. I I I 153 The gymnasium was hardly reconizable with its walls and windows covered wit h streamers, posters and banners That declared each class had the most spirit. The Cheerleaders, Majorettes and Pom Pom Girls performed their enthusiastic and eye-catching routines. The freshman sounded good but the SENIORS really had the most spirit as chaos reigned supreme. 155 cast FLORENCE ....Meredith Haymes FAIRY MAY ....Robin Nabi HANNIBAL ....Sam Evans DR.
