, 5 To Mr. Conroy: We, the Class of Nineteen Hundred and Fifty-Three, dedicate this year- book to Mr. Conroy, advisor and honorary member of our class, in appreci- ation for everything he has done for us during our four years in high school. We shall remember him always as' having been an able and just teacher as well as a genial friend to all of us. --- - -1 i l- T' I I' If eww fit WI v1ng's?:,itf i1 ' , ilk ,. fi gg 9 I A f,,4,.. 0 3 , -W g g g g , 'Qt ' . x I I 1 ,QK no Flu- V X ,wb 5' :iv - P- i s - X CIQCUS XI. 4 3 15' ..'...X i' ill it li 2, X M X ' A g ' Xx g ' I U 'i ,5 ii - : s?'9 ?': 'fl' - I .,, , E W '-

At that time your group numbered forty-seven. It is not at all unusual to have changes in group membership during the four-year period. In the case of your class these changes have reduced the membership to thirty-seven. During these four years you have been faithful to your studies and other school activities as you have attended the classes of your choice each year. You are about to complete your formal high school education and very shortly will become citizens of this or some other community. This will give you an opportunity to put the results of your training into practice. ' Your teachers have taken a personal interest in your educational accomplishrnentsg and, because you are a small class, they have been able to give you more individual attention than future classes will enjoy as the school enrolment increases. As you go your respective ways after graduation, it is my sincere wish that you will be success- ful in whatever line of endeavor you may choose, whether it is to continue your educa- tion or take your place in industry.
