With Bunker Hill, Old Ironsides and Salem ahead, Mr. Conroy and his American history class started on their annual class trip. The untiring travelers climbed the Bunker Hill Monument and toured the famous frigate, Old Ironsides. They also enjoyed visit- ing the Pioneer Village in Salem. October 30, 1951 . . . At 8:30 A.M. a group of hardy Juniors set out with Miss Chase on an American history class trip to the historic shrines of Lexington, Concord, and Sudbury. They visited such places as the Antiquarian House, Emerson's Study, the battlegrounds, and an un- derground hiding place for munitions. February 5, 1952 . . . Today the long awaited rings for the Junior Class finally arrived, and those who were lucky enough to have the cash on hand were treated to the first View of the excellently chosen and beautifully designed rings of the Class of 1953. May 9, 1952 . . . This is the date of the Junior Prom, and as we go to press, the information that we have received seems to indicate that this will be one of the most original in recent years. We understand that it will be held at the gymnasium of the new Cottage Street School with simple but highly effective decorations. We congratulate the class on a fine presentation, for we know that it will be a success. 24
