Al proved his popularity when voted president of the class and treasurer of the Varsity Club. He has been a mainstay on the first team in basketball and participated in intramural football. Without his untiring efforts in the solicitation of advertisements, we would not have been able to have such a large yearbook. Voted the best dressed, his stylish clothes are the cause of many exclama- tions of envy and admiration from his classmates. We wish Al success in his plans to attend college and major in law.

One of the smallest members of our class, Joan has, nevertheless, shown herself very capable, especially in the fields of art and sports. Many of her drawings may be seen in this yearbook, and she has also helped us with dance decorations and programs. Joan is head cheerleader and, having been a member of the squad for two years, a veteran with the ability to handle such a position well. .-gn Her enthusiasm and good nature will carry her far.
