Senior Class Year Book 1938 15 BASKETBALL Two major handicaps prevented the Sharon girls from making as good a start as usual this past basketball season. These were the entirely new first team and the fact that the game was changed to two divisions instead of three. However, as the season progressed and the girls became more experienced, the games turned in Sharon’s favor. As no one on this team will be lost by graduation, next season should prove even better than this. For their very fine team work under the leadership of Marion Bodwell, the guards deserve special mention. The second team also had a good season. Katherine Taylor will fill the position of captain next year.
