PAT PALMER BURNETTE Locxwoon JEANETTE BLACK BETTY LQWDER Preszdent Vice-President Secretary Treasurer FRESHMAN HISTORY In the eighth grade we were rather a twixt-between class. Our upper classmen treated us as children and the grammar grades thought of us as too old. Our classes were divided but we stood united. The ninth grade was our first year of high school. It was a wonderful feeling. At first we were still treated rather childishly, but we are proud we have grown up. We elected Pat Palmer as presidentg Burnette Lockwood, Vice-presidentg Jeanette Black, secretary, and Betty Lowder, treasurer. The boys sponsored a skating party at the Queen City Skating Rink for all high school students. We all had a grand time. Now we have completed another year and can look forward tobecoming sophomores. f !1,
