Anthony Kinsella, Secretary-Treasurer Thomas Albert, President Michael McMe1'ty, Vice-President Originality was shown by us this year when we Sophomores undertook the class project of making a float. This was the first year since 1954 that floats came to the scene at a Shanley Homecoming, And who won first prize? The class of '61! Flying high on the float were red and white banners and riding alongside was the Shanley player destroying the decay -germ fAggieQ with 'DEACON DENTQ' Our ability to get the float completed on time and in the usual first class styletypical of our projects, was one way of showing our maturity We know it is by the application of our talents that we can benefit most from the Christian education we are being offered here at Shanley. 46
