Freshmen Freshmen Class History Having been kept busy finding our way around, we, the first freshmen of Shanley High, finally found ourselves getting a good start in the fall of 1950, We total ninetyfsix students and top the number of freshmen in the classes of the past years. Classroom activities in the new school are very fascinating. We look forward to future years to be spent in the new building. At the beginning of the year we choose Mary lean Sinner, president: Roberta Peterson, vicefpresidentg and Bill Thompson, secretaryftreasurer. With the advice of Sister M, -lustina, and under the leadership of these officers, we made our debut into the various activities of high school life. Cur first Homecoming at Shanley will always he a memorable one since we proudly claimed first prize in the contest of floats! Candy sales and other activities helped to finance the bills of our class. We hope to leave our freshman year without any flaws, and we bequeath to the future freshmen of Shanley High, the work, play, and the friendships we have experienced during this mem' orable year.
