She likes co-operative studnets. but dis- likes noisy students. Sewing, reading, and handicrafts are her hobbies. Eating chicken is one of her favorite delights. MR. HAROLD HEECH attended the Univer- sity of Pittsburgh, Indiana State Teachers College, Ithaca Conservatory of Music, and Conservatory of Naples. Instrumental Music is the department which Mr. Beech heads. lle likes opera. drama of legiti- mate stage, but dislikes silly cartoon ads on T V, and having students called kids In his spare time his hobbies are gardening, hiking, and cooking. On the food list everything is his favorite. Lets have order, is his favorite saying. MRS. XNINIITRED COLEMAN, R. N.. at- tended NVoman's Medical College and llospital in l'hiladelphia, l'emisylvania. She took health and ed- ucation courses at the University of I'ittsburgh and extension work at Pennsylvania State University. She is a certified public school nurse. She likes to watch football games and play volleyball. In her spare minutes she likes to read. Apple pie and ice cream rate high on her food list. MR. ALBERT DAMICO was graduated front Edinboro State Teachers College with a B. S. degree. He also attended I'ennsylvania State Uni- versity and teaches in our art department. Ile likes all sports but basketball. Another dislike is people with had tempers. Among his hobbies are photogra- phy, watercoloring, and oil painting. Spaghetti and other Italian foods rate high on his food list. He can usually be heard saying, Gee Dad! MRS. MAIEEL FICHTNER UOAK, member of Delta Kappa Gamma, was graduated from Indiana State Teachers College. She teaches commercial subjects and has been our teacher for eleven years. Inconsiderate, seltish, and rude people are her dis- likes. Sewing and playing the piano are Mrs. Doak's hobbies. She also enioys traveling. Salads and meats are her favorite foods. MISS ALICE Ml EAN H O FEMAN was graduated from ,lnniata State Teachers College with a B.S. degree. She is head of the Vocal Music Department. Among her likes are music, clothes, and food, but she dislikes rude people. Collecting stamps and writing letters are her hobbies. Pizza, French onion soup, and most any foreign dishes are given top place on her food list.. ller favorite saying is A word to the wise is sufficient. MR. KENNETH LOVVRY graduated fro111 Slippery Rock State Teachers College with a B. S. degree. He is the coach of our baseball and basket- hall teams and also teaches Health, Mathematics. and Physical Education. He likes students who shox' interest and enthusiasm in all they do. In his spare time he likes to read and watch or play all kinds of sports. liried chicken is his favorite in the food llne. llis favorite saying is Jmney Patil MIlSS .IOANN MARTNISHN was graduated from Indiana State Teachers College with a B. S. degree. This is her first year of teaching and she teaches social studies and Spanish. She likes in- dustrious students and her hobbies are sports, movies, and reading. FRANKLYN GEIST High School Principal - Guidance Counselor MR, FRANKLYN GEIST, OITR HIGH SCHOOL PRINCIPAL AND GUIDANCE COITNSELOR, RECEIVED HIS MASTEIFS DEGREE OF EDIYCATION AT PENNSYLVANIA STATE COLLEGE. HE TAKES AN ACTIVE PART IN ALL MATTERS OF EDUCATION AND IS SECRETARY OF THE SOMERSET COUNTY SECONDARY SCHOOL PRINCIFALS' ASSOCIATION. HIS GOAL IS TO GET THE BEST FROM EVERY BOY AND GIRL IN OUR SCHOOL. HE HOPES TO MAKE OUR JUNIOR- SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL RANK WITH THE BEST IN THE AREA. He teaches History, English, and Literature. lle likes industrious and co-operative students, raising flowers tespecially rosesl, taking home movies in color, camping, cooking, and trying new foods, but dislikes smart alecks and wise guys and gals. Cold chicken rates high on his food list. I still contend, is his favorite saying. MR. THOMAS NASH graduated from Edin- boro State Teachers College with a li. S. degree. Ile teaches in our science department and he likes sincere students. Ilis Hi-Fi phonograph and records take up most of his spare minutes. Iiating spaghetti is one of his favorite delights. His favorite saying is My friend! MR. ARTHUR L. ORLIIJGIIC was graduated from Otterhein College with a H. A. degree. He holds a diploma in engineering from XXI-stinghouse Technical Night School. IIe also attended IShenan- doah College and Shippensburg State Teacher: College. He has taught Mathematics in our school for ten years. He likes bowling, baseball, football, basketball, and traveling. In his spare moments he can usually be found playing chess or checkers and collecting stamps and coins. On his food list, hot roast beef, potatoes and carrots, and cherry pie al-a-mode rate high. MRS. LEVENIA H. ORLIDGE was graduated. from Otterbein College with an A. B. degree. She also received a M. A. degree from the Ohio State University, and attended Shippensburg State Teach- ers College. She has taught English at our school for ten years. She dislikes having too much to do, illness, and turkey. Raising flowers. collecting books on ideals, and looking at slides of her travels are among her hobbies. Chicken, steak, broccoli, and fruit are among her food likes. Mrs. Orlidge's fav' orite saying is Oh my goodness! MR. XVILLIAM SCIIULTZ was graduated from Clarion State Teachers College with a IS. S. degree. He teaches general science, geography, drivers education, and practical driving. He like. popular and classical music, the legitimate theater. traveling, and winter: but he dislikes arrogant peo- ple and poor sportsmanship. In his spare time he can usually be found reading or cooking. Since he likes to cook, he enjoys eating all foods. MR. PAUL THOMAS was graduated from Cal- ifornia State Teachers College with a II. S. degree. He heads the Industrial Arts Department. IIe likes listening to records and traveling: but he dislikes gabby people. Hunting and bricklaying take up his spare hours. Shrimp rates high on his food list. MR. CHARLES R. VVETZEI. was graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a H. S. degree. He is the head of the Agriculture Depart- menit.
