C. R. WETZEL The F. F. A. had a busy and successful year. The chapter's basketball team representing all four classes had a successful season. lt was sparked by four senior lettermen. Three of the members took steers to the Pittsburgh Livestock Show. They were: Tom Walker, Kenneth Glessner, and William Glessner, whose steer was Reserve Grand Champion in the Hereford class. The chap- ter attended the Farm Show in Harrisburg at which some of the members exhibited farm products. Alfred Onstead was a member of the H F. F. A. State Band. This year the council membership consisted of two representatives from each grade-sev- enth to twelfth inclusive, with a total of twelve members. Meetings were held periodically in the school office under the guidance of the ad- visor, Mr. C. C. Shaffer. At those meetings many school problems were discussed and solu- tions for them were planned.
