l W- . 1 3 My Q I M , x F '-H+' i i 53 When walking into the annual room One walks into a maze Of flurred words and planning people Surrounded, engulfed by a busy haze. At the square topped table In animated discussion Amid flying paper and loud Ideas Sits the sponsor, quite use to the clarnoring percussion. For nothing is unusual In this room where memories are preserved, Except when heavy eyes and tired hands make frantic work, To meet a deadline, then no limits are observed. At times like these the editor With hardly three minutes to spare Rushes out headlong Dodging cars, upsetting people, the deadline her only care. In this cluttered, oblong room The staff makes memories into pictures, So that as the years go by You will still remember every person, every picture, Yes, years from now when children laugh And giggle at the old fashioned look, You may pause to think back over youth That lies caught here in this Book.
