4-H Club ST THE PLEDGE I PLEDGE: My head to clearer thunkung My heart to greater loyalty hands to larger servuce An my health to better luv un or my club my communuty and my country THE OFFICERS The 4 H Club has forty enrolled members thus year Several of the boys have pug prouects Mr Smuth the County Agent obtauned these pugs for the boys Carolyn Laurd has a calf prouect We had several outstandung members un the 4 H demonstratuon work the past year The members won a trup to Stullwater Patsy and Maggu Redford gave a demonstratuon on Makung a Lamp and a Lampshade placung furst un the State Contest Lenora Shaw and Darlene Inman gave a demonstratuon on Home Im provements placung seventh un State Bobby Inman and Harold Thompson gave a demonstratuon on Mak ung an Electruc Motor Portable placung suxth un State Fourteen hundred boys and gurls competed un these contests A number of the younger boys and gurls won blue and red rubbons placung un the County contests The competung un the County contests Several of the members obtauned chuckens through the Drumrught Chamber of Commerce thus year The poultry show us held every Sprung un Drumrught where the members exubut pens of brouler chuckens The chuckens are sold and from the sale payment us made for the flock whuch the members keep The annual achuevement dunner us to be held at Kelleyvulle un February At thus dunner awards are guven for outstandung achuevement un some partucular phase of 4 H work such as food preservatuon soul conservatuon and use of electrucuty un the home Mary Matherly Patsy Redford Maggue Redford Kaye Redford Mary Havener and Bobby Inman won medals the past year The offucers for the year are Bobby Inman presudent Patsy Redford vuce presudent Mary Matherly secretary Paul Ray Taylor recreatuon leader Mrs Johnson and Mr Grubbs are the local leaders Mrs Detuen and Mr Sanford are the County Agents Those attendung the SkellyVerdugrus Camp during the past year were Lenora Shaw Patsy Redford Mary Matherly Louus Ledgerwood Bobby Inman and Ray Taylor The trup us awarded to the outstandung member of the club I I My ' I d ' - ' 9 F , ' ll II - . . . . . . .
