THE PLEDGE I PLEDGE: My head to clearer thinking, My heart to greater loyalty, My hands to larger service, H b And my health to better living 4- u For my club, my community, and my country. 4 if ' f N. -M- OFFICERS AND COACHES SKELLY VERDIGRIS CAMP LODGE There are forty enrolled in the 4-H Club this year. We have had some very interesting and educational demonstrations and timely topics given by members during the past two school years. Some members have done outstanding work with projects during this period. Lawrence Matherly exhibited the second place Chester White in the breeding stock division at the Tulsa State Fair in 1951. There have been many blue ribbon winners in district and county fairs in 1951-52. Marion McFadden attended the 4-H Round-up at Stillwater last spring. He competed in the soils judging contest and gave a demonstration on taking soil samples, and placed in the Blue Ribbon Group in both. Three members attended the Skelly Verdigris Summer Camp this year. They were Lawrence Matherly, Jean McConnell, and Marion McFadden. They enjoyed this trip very much and appreciate Mr. Skelly's hospitality in inviting 4-H members to visit his lodge. We are looking forward to going to Achievement Day and competing in contests in April. Members who will exhibit in the broiler show will receive their chickens in February. Marion and Calf
