emor aaa ,jwaafory The year 1949 was one which marked the beglnnlng of our hlgh school careers and one which the Class of 1953 will never forget It will llnger ln our mlnds as the be glnmng of a new phase ln our lives and leave us many happy memories of our hugh school days Durmg our Sophomore year Mr Hllbush was elected class adviser along with the following officers Bernie Hoy President Davld Steele, Vlce President Patsy Jones Secretary and Nancy Buzzle Treasurer Under the leader ship of these officers, the Easter Dance the sale of football plns and the sale of candy during the noon hour were very successful Durmg our Junior year some of our actlvltles were bake sale the class play If Mother Only Knew the Senior Prom The officers elected to serve during this year were Bernie Hoy President Ed Seller Vice President Nancy Buzzle Secretary and Theresa Papaleo Treasurer Now In 1953 one hundred and ssxty five students will end their hugh school careers Among the many actlvltles this year were the Thanksgiving and Christmas Dances held ln conlunctaon with the Junior Class, the sale of Christmas cards several record dances and the class play Seven teen Is Terrific We should like to thank Mr Hllbush for his cooperation and his sincere deslre to help us Following Commencement each member of the class will pass from the halls of S H S and strive to take his place an the outside world 2l O I . . . : .
