CLASS WILL We, The class of 49, having reached the end of our career here, being in sound health of body and of disposing mind and memory, do make, publish and declare this writing to be our last will and testament, hereby revoking and making void all other testimonial writings by us heretofore made. And we do hereby direct that our funeral services shall be conducted by our friends and well-wishers, the faculty, only enjoining that the funeral shall be carried on with such dignity and pomp to which our standing in school entitles us. As to such estate as it has pleased the fates and our own strong arms to give, we do dispose of the same as follows: I Derrell Murphy will my movie career to Melba Roberts. I Nancy Ashburn leave my towering height to Peggy Arnold. I Hubert Gentry leave my technique for eating six hot dogs, in six minutes to any Junior who will buy the hot dogs. I Billy Brock offer to play a piano solo for any junior who can endure it. I Benny Weber bequeath my studious habits to junior Winfield with the understanding that they Be retumed to him if he goes on to college.
