'thinks longer skirts are fine ...term papers and sauer- kraut are her pet dislikes .... changed tradition 'by lbeing the only girl president of the Senior Class .... occupies her time with Y-Teens, Thespians, Forensic, Sha- leresque, G.A.A. and Scoop. That's life. 1TH a justifiable degree of pride, we prepared to take our last hurdle here at Shaler, under the able leadership of Mrs. Clark and Mr. Martin, with all intentions of making it our best attempt. In every field of activities-athletics, music, and social-we had our representatives. ' The vivid memories of an undefeated football team slowly passed to the boredom of semester exams, but then we soon forgot them and made preparations for the Junior-Senior Prom. VVeeks rolled lby in the preparation for our May Day festivities, and finally we began planning for our Senior Dance. Now, as we stand on the threshold of commencement, the vision of the future replaces the image of the past. We are ready to set our faces toward the future and use the knowledge which each of us has gained-that of enriching our future. Look not monrnfally into the Pastg it comes not back again.
