THE FUTURE Tis folly to look to the future, A voice cried out from the throng. The world is full of grief and chaos, The road is tiresome and long. This our challenge of the present, Is far from being called bright, But foundations made strong through years Are weapons with which to iight. We have a background of precedence, From students who walked these halls, We are ready and fully prepared To acknowledge our country's calls. Fighter, mill-worker, businessman, all, You'll find the best from here, For they have ventured into the world, Without a knowledge of fear. We're known as the seniors of today, But tomorrow we will be, The citizens of our country, True authors of liberty.
