Rogers, Produetion Chief of the Shaler Township Division. This is an Allegheny County department: Unele Sam, As ehief of this township. Mr. Rogers direets the work in the Braun, DeHaven, Glenshaw, Friday Street, Bauerstown, and High School divisions. Not only does he direet the educational interests of these groups, but he also eo-ordinates their Work with the national program. Finaneial matters are a part of this, too, for these divisions buy at stated intervals VVar Bonds and Stamps. As an advisory group, the Shaler Board which you'll see on the next page, plays a dehnite role in these aetivities, for like all the National Boards, they deeide upon the policies. Sinee l'm telling you of the high sehool activities particularly, Unele Sam, you.'ll enjoy meeting our speeial production ehief, Miss Marry Ruth jellery. There are about thirty de- partment supervisors and more than seven hundred Working in this group. Miss .Ieffery's speeial task is the direction and eo-ordination of these supervisors and workers to provide the maximum of eflieieney and production. The Workers are trained to exert their elliorts to im- prove their abilities, and work for their eountry. ln the very near future after their period of training is Completed, these workers will be making a more speeial eontribution to you and- to others.
