United States History and VVorld Problems are emphasized. Worlcl History is the field of Catharine McRoberts, who holds degrees from P.C.VV. and Pitt. Senior and junior English are taught by Dorothy E. Moulton, from Randolph-Macon VVoman's College and Pitt. Teaching Science and Mathematics is Walter Oelschlager, from California S.T.C. Our nurse is Hazel E. Owrey, R.N., from the Allegheny General Hospital. Business subjects belong to the department of Sally Pitcairn Sepic from Pitt. Robert G. Shriver, from Clarion S.T.C., is now teaching Biology and Geometry. G. Thomas Smink, from Duquesne University. has charge of the band and orchestra in this division. Our school secretary, Grace Steiger- wald, attended the Robert Morris School of Accounting. Tenth grade English is under the direction of Betty Taylor, with degrees from Indiana S.T.C. and Pitt. Dr. Homer Wallace left us for the Army Medical Corps. Art classes report to Claribel Ward, from Marshall College. Other schools, too, receive her instruction. Girls' gym and hygiene is supervised by Gladys M. Wilson from Slippery Rock S.T.C. Agriculture fills the time of C. L. Zook, who has degrees from Penn State. ,rd A ,, ,W JMB.
