What goes on that we don ' t know . . . each Shaker dance is organized by two co-chairmen who serve as co-ordinators and six committees that take care of all details. Planning first starts about three weeks ahead of the scheduled affair. As zero hour approaches, students work at an increasingly fast and furious pace,- on Saturday mornings the girls ' gym is filled with people, some concerned with decorating, some concerned with last minute planning details, and always a few con- cerned with nothing more than looking on. The results of the efforts of all the co-chairmen and committee members were represented in the success of the 1953-54 social season. Judy Schoenberg, Ann McClelland, and Neil Miller paint decorations for the Football Dance.
