DEDICATION In recognition of his outstanding work as a teacher, his much-applauded contributions to school assemblies as a singer, his invaluable service and untiring effort as director of our Dublic ad¬ dress system, and his ability to teach chemistry well while never failing to keep his classroom in¬ teresting through his habitual good humor, we, the class of 1946, are proud to dedicate our annual to Mr. J. Norman Staiger.

To the Seniors: It has been a real honor to work with you during your senior year. I have observed with great pleasure your outstanding capabilities, your splen¬ did attitudes, and your unusual capacity for getting things done. These characteristics were evident to me as I observed you at work, in extra-cur¬ ricular act ivities, and aiding in the administration of the school. During your years in the Shaker Schools you have progressed in the art of evaluating yourselves and your work. You will continue to grow and contribute much to your new communities wherever you may be. The world needs young people of your quality. The challenges which confront you are many. The opportunities are great. We are expecting you to make a fine record. I feel that the Shaker Heights High School is a better place because you have been here. I hope you will continue to be interested in your school and that you will support it whenever possible. May you have much success and happiness in your endeavors! Sincerely, Russell H. Rupp 5
