Up to now they have had to pay respect to their elders, but now they will have a glory of their own. We urge them to make the most of the opportunity, and to live worthily, even as we did when we reached that place in school life. To the School Board we give our sincere apologies for the way in which we failed to appreciate their honest efforts for Shakamak High School. We hope their memory of us will not be darkened by such instances of our behaviour that make us blush, even on Commencement Night. To the Faculty, we give blessed relief from attempting to teach us things we had no desire to know. May they realize that they accomplished more than they thought they did and then, as we leave Shakamak High School, we are truly grateful for all their patient efforts. To the janitors we give our gratitude for keeping the walks clean, the fire burning, and the floors free from paper wads and similar unsightly articles. However, we want the world to know that we have a warm spot in our hearts for every square inch of its surface, and we trust classes as yet unregistered will continue to cherish it. This, as we have said, is the last will and testament of the class of 1964. A copy of this document will be duly filed in the safe in Mr. Vosloh's office, to be kept there until such time as there is need to refer to its con- tents. It will be signed by the officials of the class of 1964, and due warning is hereby given that any attempt to break this will or to change the provisions thereof will result disastrously. Being duly signed before witnesses, it becomes official.
