Mr. T. L. McCuen, as district superinten- dent, provides the leadership for the Kern County High School and Iunior College District, including Bakersfield High, Bur- roughs High, East Bakersfield High, Kern Valley High, McFarland High, North High and Shafter High School. This is a large district, and Mr. McCuen must be alert to a great variety of prob- lems, on which he keeps the trustees in- formed, as the professional advisor to the l board.
