However. there were new teachers in the following departments: Eighth grade. social studies. industrial arts, and science. XVe also added an art department. Although the new addition caused considerable confusion. this years faculty did an excellent job in coping with the various situations that they had come upon. W'e are proud to have had the guidance of these fine men and women. We hope that we mold our lives well as a tribute to our fine teachers. 111 Memorimzz MR. jACOB BARTH gawzdofg When we returned to school this year and saw the work that had been done on the new addition to the high school and realized that children of elementary age were actually attending one of the most modern schools in the valley, we became more than ever aware that our town is behind us. Shady- side is doing everything to provide us with the best education possible. Furthermore, when the new bond issue was passed last November we discovered that a group of men who deserve much credit was behind all of this. That group is the Board of Education.
