Mrs. Charlotte McKay The 1980 Spring Staff has chosen to dedicate the annual to Mrs. Charlotte McKay. Born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, she is a graduate of Ohio State Uni- versity with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Education. After gradua- tion she worked as a secretary and bookkeeper. Mrs. McKay came to West Virginia in 1950. She and her husband managed a farm in Mercer County. They later bought a drive-in restaurant which she man- aged, while he managed other restaurants. Her first teaching post was at Richmond District School in 1966. She came to Shady High in 1968. She presently holds a Masters Degree from Marshall Univer- sity and has earned additional graduate hours from West Virginia University. Mrs. McKay, you are a dedicated, conscientious teacher, and the yearbook staff is proud to honor you with the 1980 Spring dedication.
