The annual award is sponsored by the American Institute of Biologi- cal Science and the American Optical Company. Dr. Harold Ward, chairman of the Department of Biological Sciences of Marshall University presented Mr. Patton with a certificate from the National Association of Biology Teachers and a microscope from the American Optical Company.
