SCI-IE DU LE This year was a time of transition for many students at Shady Side. The schedule of attending classes, sports, and activities was complete- ly re-arranged, so the old-timers to the system were as perplexed as the newly-arrived freshmen when school resumed in the fall. When spring came about, those students departing from SSA reflected upon the idea that each new day would bring an entirely different sched- ule, just as events that would shape the paths of their lives could never be forseen. The departing students exemplified the hope that Shady Side's contributions to their lives would always remain to guide them in a continually growing manner.
