,,,,,,4ggMay STEWART H. STEFFEY DEDICATION Stewart H. Steffey passed away on November 6th after a long illness. All who knew him were aware of the great affection Mr. Steffey had for the Academy. A member of the class of 1937, he was elected a trustee in 1951. He was co-chairman of the commit- tee which raised funds for Mellon Gymnasium, chaired the committee responsible for building Memorial Hall, and was the Dean of the Academy's Class Agents. He also wrote the words to the Academy's Alma Mater. In 1973, he received the Robert E. Walker Award for Distinguished Alumni Service. It is to Mr. Steffey and his example of spirit and faithful service that the 1978 Acade- mian is dedicated.
