6111.-vs Praphvcy As I sit at my table with nothing to do, I stare into my crystal ball and it is turning slowly. I see my classmates are scattered everywhere, First I see Anne Lawson, who has finally gotten to be Mrs. Carl Smith. She is now modeling French bathing suits in Mocksville, Betty Mullis has finally reached her goal, nursing in a lunatic hospital in Advance, North Carolina. Why there's Mildred Nance, still single and happy, now a barber in Fork. Who is that over there with those cute little triplets? Why that's Gray Barnhardtl I see he's finally got himself a wife and three kids. I see Pete Shore ln a uniform. Why, he's a professional bus driver. Here comes Red Cornatzer, and I see that he's still single. He's now the owner and operator of a big Rest Home For Old Maids. And now, who should I see but Josephine Howard. She has done real well for herself, as she is a well trained lion tamer. Clark Smith, the boy voted most studious is now teaching in Kindergarten. There's Roy Potts, he's now on Television, taking Clare Bell's place. I see that shy Clifford Howard ls still single and doing well in motion pictures, as he has all the girls swooning over him. Bennett Potts is doing real well in business, He's now running The Grill in Mocks- ville. Richard Balley has just finished his 47th year of motorcycle racing and has decided to retire, Over there are bright lights, Why I'm in a carnival and over here is a sign that says. The Laughing Lady, That's nobody but jolly little Shirley Cornatzer. There's Ethel Shore, now Mrs. Kenny Carter, living in Smith Grove and running a tourist Court. I see William Bailey in real estate business. He's doing well for himself, a wife and six kids. Sallie Barney is now doing secretary work in a large animal hospital in Winston- Salem. Jackie McCulloh voted most popular girl is now president of a big club. The Lonely Hearts Clubl I see Edith Bailey and Geraldyne Spry going down the road. They are both happily married and live near each other. Now my crystal ball is slowly fading and I must be moving on as l have other places to visit and more fortunes to tell.
