On October 3, 1974, the Girls' State Con was held. Featured speakers were Barb Bauer and Sandi Hebert, Shadle's representatives to Evergreen Girls' State. held during the summer. The girls and their dads gathered at the school for an enjoyable evening of entertainment. ' ' f A fashion show with the theme of Falling into Winter with Shades of Autumn, and several service projects led DY! the Courtesy Committee were also included during the semester. Striving to keep unity within the school, become closer acquainted with the girls of Shadle, and give girls more say in everything that goes on, were the goals of officers, President Shery Murphy. Vice- President Mary Zuege. Secretary Kim Klohe and Treasurer Debbie Meyers. They were assisted by an Executive Council made up of Senior Barb Bauer, Junior Sue Overbust and Sophomore Leanne Smith.
