HILITES Takes New Culloolc In Reporting Bill Craze and Lynne Thomas are co- editors of the newspaper. Their staff members are, Susie Higinbotham-news editor, Kenn Freeman-editorial editor. Everyone was starting from scratch this year. Mr. Carl Crowe was first time adviser of the staff. There were lots of organizational problems in September. As a group the staff was pretty good, says Lynne Thomas. Having won the Columbia Press Association's first class ranking last year, the staff became more and more eager as the year progressed in maintaining the high standards of the HI LITES. Around the Holidays the staff decided to give the paper a new outlook by reporting more community related activities in an effort to interest the students with their surroundings. GoaI is to include activities of the student whose activities pertain more to the community rather than just school functions, says Bill Craze.
