Trodition Lives Every year the tradition lives on at Shadle High. Always. to get school off to an exciting start is the famous Highlander Week. The days in this week consist of Hi-Student, Hi- Lassie. Hi-Laddie. Hi-Teacher. and of course Hi-Henderson Days. Shadle Highlanders seem to have great fun during this week. especially on Hi-Laddie and Lassie Day. The strange sights you see in the halls on these days are always a constant amazement to people passing by. The week is brought to a great finish by the Highland Fling mixer. where the Friendliest Guy and Girl of each class are announced. The dance is highlighted with a visit by the Pipe Band.
